The Napanee Peewee AE Stars welcomed the PEC Kings back to the SPC thursday November 24. Assistant captain, Luc Amat was the first to strike for the Stars, scoring at the 11 minute mark of the first period. The Stars continued their attack with a second goal shortly there after.
The boys followed up with 4 more strikes in the second period and finished up with a seventh in the third. Scoring for the Stars were Austin Catena(2), Jake Wood, Amat, Huyck and Will Peterson. Assists went to Ben Huyck(2) and Caleb Justason(2). The Kings finally found the back of the Stars net with the puck in the middle of the third period and again, in another photo finish worthy of review, as the buzzer rang ending the game. Final score was 7:2 Stars. Nathaniel Cinnamon and Holden Breault shared the net-minding duties.
Sunday November 27, The Stars travelled to Oshawa to face the Durham Crusaders. In a nail-biting match-up the Stars earned another point with a tied score of 3:3. Scoring for Napanee were Luc Amat (unassisted), Branson Leveque-Price and Mitchell Charlebois. Assists went to Aiden Haller-Brady, Elijah Chadwick, Amat and Bailey Cook-Martin. Cinnamon stood tall as the lone gate keeper of the game.
