OMHA Champions
Submitted By Dan Dowling on Wednesday, March 28, 2018
The Peewee BB Napanee Stars are OMHA Champions!  This season brought about immense expectation on this group of players and they faced those challenges with a degree of fortitude exhibited earlier in their minor hockey careers.  The core of this group participated in the 35-0 season for the 2013-2014 Novice A Stars and capped that year with an OMHA championship.  A special collection of players to be sure, this was a team of destiny.  With an incredible overall record of 41-4-3, this team showed very early on they know how to win.

Their regular season record was a perfect 22-0, while their playoff record was 13-1-1, with their only loss coming in game 3 of the final.  All season long, it was one dominant performance after another as they crushed all competition they faced.  Further to that point, they amassed a stunning 409 goals for and only 68 goals against.  Equating to 8.5 GF/GP while allowing a paltry 1.4 GA/GP.  These numbers don't even seem real when you consider this is an amalgamate of 11 & 12 yr. old youngsters. An offensive juggernaut that was literally unstoppable from the start of the season to their illustrious finish.  Congratulations to all involved with the team, including parents and team staff, but most importantly to this fine group of young champions.
