While the offence had their chances, it took
the Stars over a full period to finally “light the lamp” against a good skating,
hard working Campbellford Colts team this afternoon at the SPC.
Less than 2 minutes into the second, the Stars scored their first of four in the period. They then added to their lead in the third by pouring in 2 more for the 6-0 win.
Another solid defensive performance this week limited the Colts to only a few real scoring opportunities; all of which were pushed away by solid goaltending.
The Stars will continue their work this week in all phases of the game before they travel to Brighton this Thursday night to take on the Braves.
