ICHL Championship Day, News (Napanee District Minor Hockey)

On Saturday March 2, all of our ICHL Local League teams had their final Championship Day! 
We had 4 U11 Local League teams compete in their Championship Day games. Our U11 Team 1 finished their final game with a 4-2 win against Loyalist Team 1. Napanee U11 Team 2 unfortunately came up short with a 2-0 loss against Loyalist Team 2. Stars Team 3 fought hard against Deseronto, but unfortunately lost 5-3. Our U11 Team 4 faced off against Prince Edward County Team 2 in Wellington, but came up short losing 6-3.

Napanee’s U13s played their hearts out. Stars Team 1 came out victorious against Deseronto Team 2, finishing their season off with a 5-0 shutout! Team 2 fought hard against Stirling Team 3, finishing with a 2-0 loss. Napanee Team 3 clinched their final win against Stirling Team 1 with a shutout, 3-0. 

The Napanee Stars U15 Local League squads headed to Gananoque. Unfortunately, Team 1 lost 2-0 against Loyalist Team 2. Napanee Team 2 scored against Gananoque with just 14seconds left in the 3rd, securing a 2-1 win! 

NDMHA was pleased to host the U18 Local League Championship games. Both Napanee Teams came out victorious. Team1 faced off against Deseronto Team 2 winning 4-1. Our U18 Team 2 faced off against Frontenac Team 1 battling hard and finishing with a 5-1 win.  

As our season comes to an end, our organization could not be more proud of all the hard work and determination our Stars have put in all season. Down below are just a few pictures of our teams.
