Napanee Stars U13 Selects
This past weekend our Napanee Stars U13 Select team headed to Niagara, to compete in the Pete Ross Top Gun Invitational Select Tournament. Our Stars came out of the gate fighting with rookie goalie Mason Brown standing strong between the pipes. They won their first game with a nail biter of 3-2 against the Niagara Falls Flyers.

This was just what they needed as they dominated their Saturday games with a score of 8-1 against Caledon Jr. Hawks. Later that day they faced the Tecumseh Eagles with a 8-2 win with Deacon Dorrington receiving a hat-trick and Karson Scott leading his team with goals throughout the tournament, securing their spot in the Semi-Finals. Unfortunately, they were knocked out by the Heartland Dragons finishing their weekend in 3rd place against 8 other very competitive teams.
Congratulations Napanee U13 Select, we as an organization and your Coaches Andrew Scott, Steve Martin, Matthew O'Coin and Philip Munroe are all very proud with the tremendous improvement you have all made throughout this season.
