COVID Update - End Of Season
NDMH Members,
The NDMH Executive wanted to take this opportunity to communicate with the membership in light of yesterday's announcement from the government. Given that the government has declared a state of emergency and has increased the restrictions upon the province to attempt to control the pandemic, we do not believe that there is a reasonable prospect that we will be able to return to on-ice activities this season. We will be communicating with the Town of Greater Napanee to cancel the remaining time left on our ice contracts.
No charges will be issued for the February payments to members accounts.
Looking forward, please be aware that the Election of Officers is still required to take place for the organization. This will take place virtually in February. If you are able and willing to volunteer to be a part of the Executive, please reach out to a current member. It will be a difficult year next year as we try to get back to a more normal mode of operations. This season, while brief, was financially taxing on our organization and we anticipate difficult decisions with our budget ahead. Many hands make light work and if you are able to contribute to supporting this organization, we would appreciate your help.
There will not be spring tryouts. More information will be sent out at a later date in regards to coaching applications for the 2021-22 season.
Take care and stay safe,
