Remembering # 67...
Submitted By NDMH Exec on Sunday, September 15, 2019
On May 23, 2019, Napanee lost one of its "Stars", Camden Arthur, who, at the age of 9, passed away peacefully, losing his battle with cancer.

Camden touched many lives in the Napanee Minor Hockey (and Softball Napanee) sport communities, and his passion for the sport of hockey was one like no other.  During its board meeting in June, 2019, the Napanee District Minor Hockey Association retired #67 in honour of Camden.  To recognize this, for the 2019-2020 Napanee District Minor Hockey season the number 67 is displayed on the Goodyear ice surface to commemorate Camden's short but exceptional minor hockey career as a Napanee Star. Along with Camden's number being displayed on the ice, all Napanee Minor Hockey players will wear a commemorative sticker on their helmets recognizing Camden's retired number 67.
