COVID Update
Submitted By Dan Dowling on Friday, December 18, 2020
As many of you are aware, the Ministry of Education has asked families and educators to prepare for the possibility of remote learning in the new year.  This is in direct response to the increasing risk posed by the spread of COVID-19 throughout our communities.

The NDMH Executive recognizes that this may indeed be a forewarning of what is to come. If the schools are closed then it is to be expected that arenas and other non-essential facilities will be closed and gatherings again limited.

We are closely monitoring the directives from our local Health Unit, announcements from the provincial government and our governing organizations (e.g., OMHA, OHF, etc.).  Families need to be prepared for the real possibility that our season will be at the very least interrupted. Communication will be forthcoming from the Executive as soon as more information is known.

In the meantime, it is IMPERATIVE that all who participate in NDMH activities are diligent about adhering to all health protocols at each event.
