Silver Stick Finals Champions!
The Calderwood Automation Napanee Stars Atom AE team traveled to Pelham, Ontario Jan 7th-10th to participate in the International Silver Stick Finals and came home Champions!
The regional Silver Stick qualifier win in Haliburton earned them a spot in the finals in Pelham. The boys had a couple hard fought 4-0 losses to the Lincoln, ON Blades and Halton Hills, ON Thunder on Thursday but stormed back Friday with a 4-1 win over the San Jose Jr. Sharks and a 5-1 win over the York Pennsylvania Devils.
Saturday saw us playing in the Tier II semi finals against the New Jersey Bandits. The boys played hard and came out with a 2-1 win and moved them to the finals.
The championship game Sunday against the San Jose Jr. Sharks saw the boys battle hard for a 4-1 win to take home the tier II championship!
