U15 LL 2, U15 LL, 2022-2023 (Napanee District Minor Hockey)

The Napanee Stars U15 LL2 look forward to playing their final game against the U15 LL1 team on Monday, March 20th.  It has been a great season for all.

The Napanee Stars U15 LL2 team had a hard loss against the Renfrew B & M Motorsports.  The team managed to put 2 goals in the net courtesy of Ethan Kouri and Taven Huyck-Haller.  It was not enough to beat the Renfrew team, who won 3-2.  Good luck to the Renfrew B & M Motorsports in the tournament. Player of the game went to Jackson VanSlyck, who played hard, in all the games, and assisted for multiple goals throughout all three games of the tournament.  Congrats Jackson!

The team won a late night tournament game against TNT Tornadoes TNT, Sunday 4-1.  Ethan Kouri lead the team scoring 3/4 of the goals.  Taven Huyck-Haller solidified the win with the 4th. Player of the game was Nathan Zwiers for his amazing goaltending skills.

The team enjoyed a first game win, 6-2 against the Northumberland Nighthawks Brooking U15 team.  First to score was Taven Huyck-Haller, quickly followed by Ashton Hoyte.  The second period started strong with a 2nd goal for Ashton and one for Ethan Kouri.  Third period goals to to Cameron Kelly, his 1st of the season and a 2nd goal for Taven.  The team played exceptionally well with great passing and shots on net. Player of the Game went to Ashton Hoyte for excellent, sportsmanlike game play. GO STARS GO!!!

At yesterday's tie game in Amherstview vs. Loyalist Jets, our team played well for our first game since before the holiday season.  Hat Trick goes to Taven Huyck-Haller and 1st goal to Sophia Denstedt!  Congrats to you both and to the team for a game well played!! Team play continues today in Wellington @ 7p vs. PEC Kings LL2.  GO STARS GO!
