Silver Stick - Haliburton
Over the weekend the Peewee AE Stars travelled to Haliburton to play in the Regional Silver Stick tournament. They finished with a 0-1-1 record.

Game 1 - The boys played the Temiskaming Puckhounds losing 4-0. After a fast scoreless first period the Stars trailed 1-0. The second period was a scoreless affair. In the third the Puckhounds took advantage of some undisciplined play by the Stars and scored three goals. Nate Cinnamon was in goal.

Game 2 - In their second game the Stars tied the South Muskoka Bears 2-2. The Stars trailed 2-0 after the first period but then took control of the game at the start of the second. Dawson Wales scored early in the second with Bailey Cook-Martin and Austin Catena drawing assists. The Stars continued to pressure the Bears and Johnny Hearns tied the game midway through the third with Cook-Martin and Ethan Martin drawing assists. The Stars had a couple of glorious opportunities to pot the winner but puck luck was just not on their side. Jacob East went the distance in net.

Game 3 - In the final game of the tournament the Stars played the Durham Crusdars losing 3-2. The Stars opened the scoring midway through the 1st period when Liam Swart set up Johnny Hearns for a 1-0 lead.
